Hannah Petelin is an American children's illustrator based in Ohio who loves creating joyful and nostalgic illustrations that depict the simplicity of childhood. With a BA in Fine Arts and as an active member of SCBWI, she has experimented with multiple media types, including digital, traditional, sculptural, and mixed media before settling into her current illustration style.
Because of her love of fantasy and exploration, Hannah is drawn to bright colors, whimsy, and playful subject matter. Her true love is picture books, but she is always open to any adventure, including but not limited to middle grade, covers, editorial, and board books.
When she isn't drawing, her hobbies include studying clouds, sand volleyball, and acquiring the best puns for her collection.
